Cookfest FAQ
1. What is Cookfest?
- Cookfest is a Cooking Festival! For a whole weekend, cook a specific dish to earn points. The more you cook, the more you can win!
2. What changes during a Cookfest?
- The Cookfest dish temporarily becomes available at level 4.
- The Cookfest dish temporarily has Event Ingredients + Fancy as its ingredients.
- The Cookfest dish temporarily cooks faster!
- The music temporarily changes to something else.
- New Co-Ops are disabled if the Cookfest dish is part of any Co-Op.
3. How do I participate?
- Just cook and serve at least 1 Cookfest dish. Users who don't contribute get nothing!
4. How do I redeem my prizes?
- Prizes are handed out automatically by the system when a Cookfest ends. You'll see them in your "You're back!" pop-up.
5. How bonuses work?
-
If the goal is met and increased even further, the base rewards get a 1.5x or 2.0x multiplier for all players.
-
By cooking a lot, you can get top placements. Top 10%, 20% and 50% get extra bonuses on top of the global goal rewards.
- Imagine you won +5 gold from the event and was top 3 with a total of 100 participants. You'd earn +3 gold and the bonus from the 10%.
- However, bonuses don't stack! By earning 10% you don't get bonuses from 20%, 50% and below 50% too.
6. Can't I just use lots of alt accounts and make everything go faster?
- Only accounts level 4 and above can participate. (They just can't cook the food under level 4)
- Only the first user from a group that shares a network can score the event. Additional players from the network need to be manually whitelisted by the admin team!
- Open a ticket in the Discord to allow us to add this user to the whitelist and say who they are.
- This only needs to be done once.
7. How often do results update?
- They update every minute. Refresh the page (if you're impartient) or wait a bit to see your results reflected.
8. How do I track my results?
- Log in the site via a modern browser (NOT Chromium!!) and you can see your position live and claim rewards before joining the game when the event ends.
- Note that seeing your results via the site will not make you see them again in the game pop-up. They'll be deposited the moment you see the notice!
- Additional benefits of logging in include being able to see your results in past Cookfests. Top 50 players (not top 50%) out of all participants get added to the Hall of Fame!
