Here is how we handle your data. No long texts, just straight to the point. You can basically read this in 2 minutes.
To play Cappuccino, we collect your username and email address. This is used solely for account identification and recovery.
For security purposes and to prevent service abuse (such as botting or malicious attacks), we collect your IP address when you sign in and during gameplay. This data is used strictly for server-side protection and moderation.
To help keep the café world safe and enjoyable, our chat filters may temporarily send a short part of the conversation for review when potentially inappropriate content is detected.
Only the last 10 messages before the flagged message are included. If nothing gets flagged, nothing is sent.
These temporary moderation logs are not connected to gameplay data and are never permanently stored. Everything is automatically deleted after 3 days.
We store data related to your in-game activity, including your café layout, ingredients purchased, recipes cooked, and more. This data is tied to your account but contains no real-world personal identifiers.
You have the "Right to be Forgotten" here. You may request the deletion of your account at any time by contacting us via our Discord Server.
Cappuccino is a fan-run project. We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third-party companies. We aren't here for your data; we're here to help you relive the good old café days.
